My Life Is In Shreds

Well, my life isn’t exactly in shreds, though with moving it looks and feels that way to an extent. You see, as I prepare to move to Spokane, one of the first steps is shredding all those ‘important’ papers... you know, bank and bill statements, tax and financial records, business documents, health records, insurance forms, etc.   This preliminary step is huge for me and almost everyone. As someone who’s highly sensitive to energy, I keep the day-to-day clutter to a minimum, though inside … [Read more...]

A Proven Way to Release Stress FAST!

I share this because I realized you have been wanting to not only … [Read more...]

Does Change Always Have to Feel So Hard?

As you know from the famous quote by Heraclitus, “The only thing that is constant is change.” How do you feel about change? While some people get excited and like it, many do not. Did you know that when you decide to make a change, every one and everything around you feels the ripple effects of your decision? Yes, even your pets and plants experience the ripple effect of the changes you make. Pet owners who feel strongly connected to their four-legged pets know that their pets … [Read more...]

Would You Like to Be Able to Relax More?

It seems we’re all crazy busy on normal days yet with the holidays approaching, life gets even more hectic and stressful. Our ’to do’ lists get longer as we prepare for holiday gatherings, parties, decorating, shoppings, traveling. The list goes on and on. Yet, I’d bet, in most cases, taking time to relax in these most stressful times is probably missing from our lists. I’ve already noticed that my classes at my gym are smaller while traffic everywhere is heavier. Talk about stress. As I … [Read more...]

No Rules? Are You Kidding Me?

I mentioned in a previous post about participating in an online retreat for women called, Women Unleashed. Wow, was it powerful and boy did I need it. How could I tell I needed a retreat? One, I was less enthusiastic and motivated about working on my business and doing things that really needed to be done. And two, I procrastinated by doing dishes, cleaning my apartment, clearing out emails, sweeping leaves outside, doing laundry . . . Plus, it was really hard at first to give … [Read more...]

How Can Yoga Be Stressful?

Most people think of yoga as being a relaxing, calming, gentle workout for body, mind and spirit, unless it’s a Power Yoga workout. But yoga stressful? No way! I’ve always relaxed in yoga classes until I started yoga immersion and teacher training and began to stress about yoga. Here’s what happened that really stressed me out in last month’s training at Yogakula. About an hour before lunch, Siri, one of our teachers, gave us an unexpected in class assignment. We counted off into … [Read more...]

How to Transform Stress into Power!

I came home from the gym on a recent Friday afternoon to discover my power had been turned off because my neighbor didn’t pay his utility bill. Grrrr! So why was my power turned off too? I immediately contacted the power company and was told this was a problem for my landlord and that until my neighbor’s bill was paid, the power would remain off. Obviously that wasn’t going to work. I checked with my neighbor who told me he couldn’t pay his bill until he received his disability check … [Read more...]
